Keijo-kelpie hoidossa - Paso's best friend Keijo. "Los Tres Tenores Locos"

" Back off ! "

Vihdoinkin eilen paistoi aurinko ja sain kuvattua näiden tenorien menoa pellolla. Meno olikin vauhdikasta, varsinkin kun hanki vielä kantoi kolmikkoa -  Magia, Pasoa ja Keijoa. Koska Keijo on pelastuskoira, kokeilin onko sillä hallussa käsimerkin vahvistettu mene (eteen) -käsky. Oli se. Muuten kuvista ei olisikaan tullut mitään, sillä koirat pyörivät jaloissa koko ajan. Ohjaamalla sain ne juoksemaan eri suuntiin käskystä. Edellä viipottivat  Paso ja Keijo ja perässä Magi omalla kettuhyppytyylillään. Täytyykin muistuttaa Keijon omistajaa, että treenaa enemmän kestävyyttä. Magi ja Paso voittivat aina juoksukilpailun, ja Keijo kävi jo välillä makaamaan lumeen ja syömään sitä. Kaksi kuoron jäsentä senkun painelivat ohi vaan. Muutamassa tilanteessa Keijo antoi Pasolle vähän tukkapöllyä kun pnetu härkki vanhemman uroksen niskassa, tai juoksi ohi. Koko komeutta kuvaussessioiden aikana säesti tietysti kolmen hullun tenorin haukku. Välillä Keijo intoutui ulvomaankin. Taivas varjele naapureita :)

 

Muuten odotellaan maitohammaskulmureiden irtoamisia. Kaikki neljä on nyt tuplana. Jolleivät kohta irtoa, eläinlääkäri saa napata ne pois. Näitähän ei saa yrittää irroittaa millään vetoleikeillä, taivuttamalla, eikä heiluttelemalla. Pysyvien hampaiden kiille vaurioituu.

 

     Pihalla (joka siis on aidattu kokonaan - koko hehtaari), Keijo esitteli Pasolle äänirepertuaariaan.

Our annual New Years guest Keijo, australiankelpie, a rescue dog has been here for a week again. His family travels abroad every New Year, and Keijo gets along with Magi-mother very well. He also got along with Paso absolutely fine. Luckily I live in the  countryside and have some land, surrounded by a fence, so all dogs can be loose and safe outside. Gee, they had fun. Two of tenores Magi and Paso were barking and running, and Keijo ran, barked and howled. Well, I have neighbourgs who also have dogs and horses, so no problem (at least they haven't complained yet).
Good bless dog gates. I had to put dogs to separate rooms inside, since I don't like them jumping around inside. Keijo was like an old brother to Paso, who teased him all the time. Keijo really has nerves of a cow. He was cool with my puppy, just 5 months old, exept twice. It's good for a puppy to understand that the whole world is not his. Especially because the mother -Magi lets him do almost what he wants. I'm the one who keeps dicipline since I'm the packeader.  It's been raining and almost all snow has melted. There was still some hard steelike snow on the nextdoor field so I could let them run more there. Luckily we had some sun yesterday as well, and I could take the camera with me.  Results are here, and on my files 160 pics more. Untill next time :)
We continue our training in the indoors hall on tuesday again. I have learned Paso to turn fullturn around from heeling. Not perfect yet, but soon. Sitting and waiting when I'm backing - stopping and asking him to come, is quite fine already on two meters distance. Yay!
